UPM LECTURESHIP
Beyond the Boardroom: Why We’re Investing in the Next Generation
At WHITE & Associates, we’ve always believed that our greatest legacy isn’t just the work we do, but the minds we help shape. This semester, we’re putting that belief into action in a new way; through education.
We’re incredibly proud to share that our Founder has joined UPM’s Faculty of Modern Languages & Communication as a part-time lecturer for Rhetorical Criticism. Standing in front of 27 bright, curious students last week, we remembered why this matters so much.
The classroom isn’t just an academic space – it’s a bridge between theory and practice. Between what’s taught in textbooks and what’s learned in the trenches. Between the communicators of today and the leaders of tomorrow.
Watching these students engage, question and debate during the first class session confirmed everything we believe about the future of our industry: it’s bright. These aren’t just students but they’re future strategists, crisis managers and storytelling experts who will shape how Malaysia communicates.
For the next 14 weeks, we’ll be sharing not just theories and frameworks, but real stories from three decades in the field. The campaigns that succeeded, the crises that taught us lessons, and the moments that reminded us why communication matters.
Because at WHITE & Associates, we know that building the future means investing in it today. And we can’t wait to see what these 27 brilliant minds will teach us in return.
Here’s to light-bulb moments, tough questions and building the next generation of communication leaders – together.
