Beyond Theory: Building a Culture of Strategic Communication at MOHR.

There’s a certain magic that happens when people who care deeply about communication come together in one room. It’s more than just sharing ideas—it’s about sharing the real, often unspoken, challenges and small victories that define our work. That magic was alive and well during our recent Kursus Komunikasi360 – Strategi, Reputasi & Visual Pintar Program, held for an incredible group of 20 communication professionals from the Ministry of Human Resources (MOHR) and its agencies.

Over three engaging days, we had the privilege of learning alongside communicators at every stage of their careers—from those who have shaped national initiatives to those just beginning their journey. This blend of experience was our not-so-secret weapon. It turned what could have been a standard training into a vibrant, honest exchange where every single perspective enriched the discussion.

We explored the entire landscape of strategic communication, focusing on the practical tools that make a difference:

  • Stakeholder Management:Navigating complex relationships with empathy and strategy.
  • Corporate Branding:The slow, careful work of building trust and protecting what people say about you when you’re not in the room.
  • Campaign and Publicity Plans – Applying strategic template for impactful results.
  • Storytelling:How to craft narratives that don’t just inform, but truly connect with people’s hearts and minds.
  • Crisis Communication:Responding to the unpredictable with clarity, compassion, and decisive action.
  • CSR & SDGs/ESG:Moving beyond acronyms and buzzwords to create genuine, measurable social impact.
  • Measuring Communication Initiatives: Moving beyond output and going into impact.

But the true heart of the program didn’t come from our slides or talking points. It came from the participants. They generously wove their own experiences—their proudest campaigns, their toughest hurdles, their hopes for the future—into every discussion. This wasn’t about abstract theory; it was about equipping a passionate and talented team with practical tools they could immediately put to work.

A sincere thank you to the Communication team at the Ministry of Human Resources for their trust and partnership, and to every participant who showed up with curiosity, openness, and a collaborative spirit. Your energy is what makes this work so meaningful.
