Drama, Drama, Drama…
My Interpersonal Communication students from IIUM’s Faculty of Communication brought their A-game to their final project presentations, turning our classroom into a creative hub filled with energy and excitement. Despite having limited resources, they pushed boundaries and used their creativity to dramatize key course concepts like managing conflicts, understanding nonverbal cues, effective communication, and effective listening.
What stood out most was seeing how far they’ve come since the start of the semester. Many of these students began the course hesitantly, but over time, I watched them grow in confidence and skill. By the Drama Day, they stepped into their roles with such enthusiasm and self-assurance. Their performances were not just entertaining but also demonstrated a deep understanding of the material and a genuine effort to make their learning relatable and meaningful.
With the final exam just around the corner in early February, I wish them all the best as they prepare to wrap up the course. I’m incredibly proud of their growth and creativity – Drama Day was proof that their hard work and determination have paid off. Congratulations to each of them for making this semester such a memorable one!
