Shaping the Future of Strategic Communication Education at UCSI

I am pleased to share that I was invited to join the Master in Strategic Communication Board of Studies (BOS) meeting at UCSI University today. It was an honor to contribute to a meaningful discussion on strengthening the program and ensuring its alignment with industry needs.

The session provided an excellent platform to review and enhance the curriculum, focusing on key areas such as:

• Aligning Courses with Industry Trends – Ensuring the program remains relevant by incorporating emerging communication strategies and technological advancements.
• Enhancing Student Quality – Exploring ways to develop well-rounded graduates with the critical thinking, creativity, and leadership skills needed to excel in the field.
• Strengthening Industry Engagement – Encouraging greater participation from communication professionals to provide students with real-world insights, mentorship, and practical learning experiences.

It was a productive discussion, and I truly appreciate the collaboration with the Faculty of Social Sciences and Liberal Arts (FoSSLA). Their commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement is commendable.

Looking forward to seeing these efforts translate into positive outcomes for students and the industry.
