Strategic Communication: A Game-Changer for Public Universities?
Should Public Universities Leverage Strategic Communication to Boost Their Reputation? This thought-provoking question was at the heart of a recent discussion I had with Dr. Siti Zanariah and Dr. Nurshafawati from the Faculty of Languages and Communication at Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA). As an industry representative, I was honoured to be invited to share my professional insights on this subject. Prior to our meeting, the researchers had conducted interviews with representatives from various public universities to gather data.
Their research aims to explore the rationale, strategies, and anticipated outcomes of implementing strategic communication initiatives to position public universities as dynamic and progressive institutions in Malaysia. I’m eagerly looking forward to the findings of this important study, and I’m grateful to UniSZA for involving me in such a meaningful initiative.
