Adapting to New Challenges: Key Insights from the UPM’s Strategic Communication Colloquium 2024
What can we expect when Gen Alpha enters the workforce? How will social media and AI impact communication practices? In what ways do data mining and machine learning assist in communication? What defines effective crisis management? And what role does strategic communication play in organizational success?
These were some of the fascinating topics we explored when I had the privilege of sharing the stage with Daisy Sidhu, Communication Lead at Grab, and Eizaz Azhar, Director of Strategy & Partnerships at ASLI (Asian Strategy & Leadership Institute), during the discussion “Adapting to New Challenges and Opportunities” at The Inaugural Strategic Communication for a Sustainable Future Colloquium 2024. The event was organized by the Faculty of Modern Language and Communication, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), held on November 14, 2024, at Menara Affin@TRX, Kuala Lumpur.
